उत्तराखंड: हर्बल इकोनॉमी को विकसित करेगी धामी सरकार
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सचिवालय में आयोजित जड़ी-बूटी सलाहकार समिति की बैठक में अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि गांवों में क्लस्टर बनाकर हर्बल क्षेत्र में व्यवस्थित रूप से कार्य किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि उच्च हिमालयी क्षेत्रों में उपलब्ध हर्बल एवं औषधीय उत्पादों के संवर्धन और प्रोत्साहन पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए।
हर्बल व जड़ी-बूटी सेक्टर में नवाचार पर जोर- मुख्यमंत्री
मुख्यमंत्री ने निर्देश दिये कि जड़ी-बूटी और एरोमा सेक्टर में अग्रणी दो राज्यों की बेस्ट प्रैक्टिसेज़ का अध्ययन करने हेतु राज्य से विषय विशेषज्ञों की टीम भेजी जाए, जिससे उत्तराखंड में भी इन नवाचारों को लागू किया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि जड़ी-बूटी क्षेत्र में टर्नओवर बढ़ाने के लिए अनुसंधान, नवाचार, उत्पादन, विपणन और ब्रांडिंग पर समन्वित रूप से कार्य हो।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हिमालयी क्षेत्र प्राकृतिक हर्बल संपदा का केंद्र है। राज्य में इसकी अपार संभावनाओं को देखते हुए हर्बल इकोनॉमी को विकसित करना सरकार की प्राथमिकता है। किसानों को उनके उत्पाद का अधिकतम लाभ दिलाने, स्थानीय स्तर पर स्वरोजगार के अवसर बढ़ाने तथा महिलाओं को आर्थिकी से जोड़ने की दिशा में ठोस प्रयास किए जाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि हर्बल उत्पादों की वैल्यू एडिशन, प्रसंस्करण और प्रशिक्षण की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने के लिये पंतनगर विश्वविद्यालय के सहयोग भी लिया जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जिन क्षेत्रों में भालू सहित अन्य जंगली जीवों से जनजीवन और फसलों को नुकसान पहुँच रहा है, वहाँ कृषि एवं वन विभागों की संयुक्त टीमें भेजी जाएं। ये टीमें लोगों को सुरक्षा उपायों और फसल संरक्षण के लिए जानकारी प्रदान करें।बैठक में जड़ी-बूटी शोध एवं विकास संस्थान के निदेशक डॉ. अभिषेक त्रिपाठी ने संस्थान द्वारा किए जा रहे अनुसंधान कार्यों, दुर्लभ औषधीय प्रजातियों के संरक्षण, उत्पादन, और प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों की विस्तृत जानकारी दी। बैठक में कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी, उपाध्यक्ष जड़ी-बूटी सलाहकार समिति भुवन विक्रम डबराल, बलवीर घुनियाल, प्रमुख सचिव आर.के. सुधांशु, सचिव एस.एन. पांडेय, वी. षणमुगम, अपर सचिव विजय कुमार जोगदंडे, वंदना, अनुराधा पाल एवं संबंधित अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
