उत्तराखंड: होमगार्ड स्वयंसेवकों ने देहरादून में दिखाया दमखम
होमगार्ड्स एवं नागरिक सुरक्षा संगठन के स्थापना दिवस पर आयोजित भव्य रैतिक परेड में कुल दो कंपनियां शामिल की गई, जिसमें से प्रथम कंपनी में तीन महिला प्लाटून एवं तीन पुरुष प्लाटून होमगार्ड्स स्वयंसेवक शामिल रहे।
परेड कमांडर निर्मल जोशी, जिला कमांडेंट, देहरादून, सेकेंड इन कमांड, नितिन काकेरवाल, जिला कमांडेंट, बागेश्वर तथा परेड एडजूटेंट चेतन मैठाणी, वैतनिक निरीक्षक, जनपद नैनीताल, कंपनी कमांडर का कार्य मुकुल राठी, वैतनिक प्लाटून कमांडर, जनपद रुद्रपप्रयग और और सचिन कुमार, वैतनिक प्लाटून कमांडर, जनपद टिहरी गढ़वाल ने किया।
इस अवसर पर होमगार्ड्स स्वयंसेवकों ने निःशस्त्र युद्ध व आत्मरक्षा और मोटरसाइकिल दस्ता ‘दहाड़’ में शामिल होमगार्ड्स जवानों ने अद्भुत करतब दिखाते हुए विभिन्न कलाओं का प्रदर्शन किया। मुख्य अतिथि मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने ड्यूटी पर दिवंगत होमगार्ड देवेन्द्र सिंह की आश्रित पत्नी पूजा सिंह एवं धीरज कुमार की आश्रित पत्नी मंजू देवी को दो-दो लाख और सेवापृथक होमगार्ड मुकेश कुमार, कंपनी कमाण्डर, चतर सिंह व रोशन लाल को एक-एक लाख की सहायता राशि के चेक प्रदान किए।
