दक्षिण अफ्रीका में गिरा निर्माणाधीन हिंदू मंदिर
दक्षिण अफ्रीका से एक बड़ी खबर सामने आई है। साउथ अफ्रीका के क्वाज़ुलु-नटाल प्रांत में निर्माणाधीन चार मंज़िला हिंदू मंदिर धराशायी हो गया। इस हादसे में चार लोगों की मौत हो गई। मृतकों में 52 साल के भारतीय मूल का व्यक्ति भी शामिल है।

स्थानीय मीडिया ने अधिकारियों के हवाले से बताया कि चार मृतकों में से एक की पहचान विक्की जयराज पांडे के रूप में हुई है, जो मंदिर ट्रस्ट के एग्जीक्यूटिव सदस्य और कंस्ट्रक्शन प्रोजेक्ट के मैनेजर थे।
रिपोर्ट्स में दावा किया जा रहा है कि मृतक विक्की जयराज पांडे लगभग दो साल पहले मंदिर बनने के बाद से ही इसके डेवलपमेंट में गहराई से शामिल थे। मंदिर से जुड़ी चैरिटी संस्था, फूड फॉर लव के डायरेक्टर सनवीर महाराज ने भी कन्फर्म किया कि पांडे मरने वालों में से थे।
गुफा की तरह डिजाइन किया गया मंदिर
गौरतलब है कि मंदिर को एक गुफा के तरह डिजाइन किया गया है। जिसमें भारत से लाए गए पत्थरों का इस्तेमाल किया गया था। इसे बनाने वाले परिवार ने दावा किया था कि इसमें दुनिया के सबसे बड़े देवताओं में से एक भगवान नृसिंहदेव की मूर्ति होगी।
वहीं, ईथेक्विनी नगरपालिका ने एक आधिकारिक बयान में बताया कि इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए किसी भी बिल्डिंग प्लान को मंजूरी नहीं दी गई थी, जिससे पता चल रहा है कि यह निर्माण गैरकानूनी था। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि शुरुआती बचाव की कोशिशें फंसे हुए लोगों में से एक के सेलफोन कॉल से गाइड की गईं, लेकिन शुक्रवार देर शाम बातचीत बंद हो गई।
