करनाल में हुए करीब 20 करोड़ रुपये के धान घोटाले में लंबे समय के बाद पुलिस की एसआईटी आढ़ती मिलरों के बाद गबन में संलिप्त भ्रष्ट अधिकारियों तक पहुंची है। इससे पहले नवंबर माह में गेटपास फजीवाड़े में मंडी सुपरवाइजर पंकज तुली और दो कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटर की गिरफ्तारी हुई थी। उनसे केवल 5.25 लाख रुपये की बरामदगी हुई थी। पिछले सप्ताह गिरफ्तार किए गए आढ़ती एवं मिलर देवेंद्र से दो लाख रुपये की बरामदगी हुई थी। इस प्रकार 20 करोड़ रुपये के धान घोटाले में अब तक केवल 7.25 लाख रुपये की बरामदगी हुई है।
