अगर भारत की बात करें, तो टीम इंडिया इस टूर्नामेंट में डिफेंडिंग चैंपियन के रूप में मैदान पर उतरने वाली है। इसके अलावा इंग्लैंड की टीम टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2024 की सेमीफाइनलिस्ट टीम है, जिसे भारत के खिलाफ हार का सामना करना पड़ा था। तो वहीं ऑस्ट्रेलिया और न्यूजीलैंड की टीम पिछले वर्ल्ड कप के सेमीफाइनल में भी नहीं पहुंच सकी थी।
