देहरादून: पासिंग आउट परेड आज, सेना को मिलेंगे युवा सैन्य अफसर
भारतीय सेना को आज 491 युवा सैन्य अधिकारी मिले। पीपिंग और ओथ सेरेमनी के साथ ही कुल 525 आफिसर कैडेट सेना में शामिल हुए। इनमें से 491 युवा सैन्य अधिकारी भारतीय थल सेना को मिले, जबकि 34 कैडेट 14 मित्र देशों की सेनाओं का हिस्सा बने।
शनिवार को भारतीय सैन्य अकादमी (आईएमए) में पासिंग आउट परेड (पीओपी) का समीक्षा अधिकारी, भारतीय थलसेनाध्यक्ष जनरल उपेन्द्र द्विवेदी ने निरीक्षण किया। ऑफिसर कैडेट निष्कल द्विवेदी को स्वॉर्ड ऑफ ऑनर से सम्मानित करते समीक्षा अधिकारी जनरल उपेन्द्र द्विवेदी ।
थल सेनाध्यक्ष जनरल उपेंद्र द्विवेदी ने बतौर रिव्यूइंग अफसर परेड का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने पास आउट हो रहे आफिसर कैडेट की सलामी भी ली। टेक्निकल क्रेडिट कोर्स के जाधव सुजीत संपत को रजत पदक से सम्मानित किया गया। बांग्लादेश के जूनियर अंडर ऑफिसर मोहम्मद शफीक अशरफ को भी समीक्षा अधिकारी जनरल उपेंद्र द्विवेदी ने सम्मान दिया। इसके बाद भारतीय थलसेनाध्यक्ष जनरल उपेन्द्र द्विवेदी, पीवीएसएम, एवीएसएम ने भारतीय सैन्य अकादमी में कैडेट्स को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि सैन्य सेवा केवल एक नौकरी नहीं, बल्कि ऐसा दायित्व है जो सर्वोच्च त्याग की मांग करता है। उन्होंने कहा कि अकादमी से पास आउट होने के बाद भले ही हर कदम पर कोई मार्गदर्शक साथ न हो, लेकिन तब आपके कंधों पर कहीं बड़ी जिम्मेदारी होगी।
जनरल द्विवेदी ने कहा कि एक अधिकारी के रूप में आपके आचरण, अनुशासन और निर्णय लाखों लोगों के लिए प्रेरणा बनेंगे। देश और समाज आपको एक रोल मॉडल के रूप में देखेगा, ऐसे में आपके हर कार्य में मूल्य, कर्तव्य और राष्ट्र के प्रति निष्ठा झलकनी चाहिए। उन्होंने कैडेट्स से सेवा, समर्पण और नेतृत्व के मूल्यों को जीवन भर अपनाए रखने का आह्वान किया।
