गया जी में शांतिपूर्ण माहौल में संपन्न हुआ मतदान, 68.64% मतदाताओं ने किया वोट

बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव 2025 के दूसरे चरण में मंगलवार को गया जी जिले के सभी 10 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में शांतिपूर्ण माहौल में मतदान संपन्न हुआ। जिले के किसी भी क्षेत्र से किसी अप्रिय घटना या गड़बड़ी की सूचना नहीं मिली। मतदाताओं में जबरदस्त उत्साह देखने को मिला। सुबह से ही लोग लोकतंत्र के इस महापर्व में भाग लेने के लिए मतदान केंद्रों पर कतारबद्ध होकर पहुंचे।

जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी-सह डीएम शशांक शुभंकर ने बताया कि मंगलवार को हुए द्वितीय चरण के मतदान में जिले के 10 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में 68.64% मतदाताओं ने अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग किया। यह संख्या पिछले विधानसभा चुनाव की तुलना में लगभग 10% अधिक है। जानकारी के अनुसार, जिले में दूसरे चरण के तहत इमामगंज, शेरघाटी, बाराचट्टी, बोधगया, टनकुप्पा, गुरुआ, वजीरगंज, टिकारी, अतरी और बेलागंज विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में वोटिंग हुई। मतदान सुबह 7 बजे से शुरू होकर शाम 6 बजे तक चला। चुनाव को शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से संपन्न कराने के लिए जिला प्रशासन ने अर्धसैनिक बलों की तैनाती की थी। डीएम शशांक शुभंकर, एसएसपी आनंद कुमार और अन्य वरीय अधिकारी लगातार क्षेत्र का भ्रमण करते रहे। संवेदनशील और अतिसंवेदनशील बूथों पर विशेष निगरानी रखी गई।

चार बूथों पर हुआ वोट बहिष्कार
डीएम ने बताया कि मंगलवार को संपन्न हुए विधानसभा चुनाव के दौरान अतरी विधानसभा क्षेत्र के दो, जबकि इमामगंज और बाराचट्टी विधानसभा क्षेत्र के एक-एक मतदान केंद्र पर मतदाताओं ने वोट बहिष्कार किया।

तकनीकी व्यवस्था और मतदान प्रतिशत
प्रशासन ने सभी बूथों पर ईवीएम और वीवीपैट मशीनों की पूर्व जांच कर ली थी। कुछ बूथों पर मतदान शुरू होने के समय तकनीकी गड़बड़ियां आईं, जिन्हें तुरंत ठीक कर लिया गया। डीएम के अनुसार, गया जिले में इस बार 68.64% मतदान दर्ज हुआ, जबकि पिछली बार यह 58.65% था। ग्रामीण इलाकों में मतदान प्रतिशत अधिक रहा, जबकि शहरी क्षेत्रों में अपेक्षाकृत कम वोटिंग हुई।
