कहानी जितनी सिंपल लगती है, उतनी है नहीं। इस फिल्म के हर सीन में एक सस्पेंस है जो दर्शकों को आखिर तक जोड़े रखता है। फिल्म को लोग इतना पसंद कर रहे हैं कि नॉन-वीकेंड में भी सिनेमाघर फुल रहे और कमाई जबरदस्त हुई। कांतारा चैप्टर 1 ने बॉक्स ऑफिस पर इतनी जबरदस्त कमाई कर ली है कि इसके आगे 2025 की हाइएस्ट ग्रॉसिंग मूवीज में शुमार छावा भी पीछे हो गई है।

कांतारा चैप्टर 1 ने दो दिन के कलेक्शन से अभी तक छावा को पछाड़ दिया है। इसी साल सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज हुई बॉलीवुड की ऐतिहासिक मूवी छावा ने दो दिन में कुल 68 करोड़ रुपये का कारोबार किया था। पहले दिन कमाई 31 करोड़ और दूसरे दिन 37 करोड़ रुपये थी। अगर टोटल कलेक्शन की बात करें तो दो दिन में कांतारा की जीत हुई है। मगर कांतारा चैप्टर 1 छावा का लाइफटाइम रिकॉर्ड (भारत में 601.54 करोड़ रुपये) तोड़ पाती है या नहीं, यह आने वाले दिनों में पता चल सकेगा।
