मध्य प्रदेश में सर्द मौसम ने एक बार फिर रफ्तार पर लगाम लगा दी है। प्रदेश का आधे से ज्यादा हिस्सा गुरुवार सुबह घने कोहरे की गिरफ्त में रहा। भोपाल, ग्वालियर, उज्जैन सहित 30 से अधिक जिलों में विजिबिलिटी घटने से सड़कों पर हालात चुनौतीपूर्ण बने हुए हैं। मौसम विभाग ने वाहन चालकों को बेहद सतर्क रहने और जरूरी होने पर ही सफर करने की सलाह दी है।बुधवार को दिनभर चली ठंडी हवाओं के कारण प्रदेश के ज्यादातर शहरों में अधिकतम तापमान 25 डिग्री सेल्सियस से नीचे दर्ज किया गया।
ग्वालियर-चंबल अंचल में हालात सबसे ज्यादा गंभीर हैं, जहां दृश्यता 50 मीटर से भी कम रहने की आशंका है। ऐसे में सुबह के समय सड़क हादसों का खतरा बढ़ गया है। मौसम विभाग ने कोहरे में ड्राइविंग के दौरान धीमी गति से वाहन चलाने, फॉग लाइट के इस्तेमाल और सुरक्षित दूरी बनाए रखने की अपील की है। शुक्रवार को भी कई जिलों में कोहरा छाए रहने का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।
इन जिलों में कोहरे का ज्यादा असर
भोपाल, ग्वालियर, उज्जैन, श्योपुर, मुरैना, भिंड, दतिया, शिवपुरी, गुना, अशोकनगर, विदिशा, रायसेन, सागर, राजगढ़, शाजापुर, आगर-मालवा, रतलाम, नीमच, मंदसौर, निवाड़ी, टीकमगढ़, छतरपुर, पन्ना, सतना, रीवा, मऊगंज, सीधी, सिंगरौली, मैहर, कटनी, उमरिया, शहडोल और अनूपपुर में कोहरे की स्थिति बनी हुई है।
अगले दो दिन का मौसम मिजाज
6 फरवरी: ग्वालियर-चंबल और विंध्य क्षेत्र के कई जिलों में घना कोहरा रहेगा, जबकि भोपाल, इंदौर समेत मध्य हिस्से में हल्के से मध्यम कोहरे की संभावना है।
7 फरवरी: अधिकांश जिलों में कोहरा बना रहेगा, हालांकि बारिश का कोई अलर्ट नहीं है।

उत्तर भारत में सक्रिय वेस्टर्न डिस्टरबेंस और साइक्लोनिक सर्कुलेशन के चलते प्रदेश में बादल और ठंडी हवाएं बनी हुई हैं। पहाड़ों में बर्फबारी के बाद मैदानी इलाकों में ठंडक बढ़ी है। वहीं, 8 फरवरी से पश्चिमी हिमालय क्षेत्र में नया वेस्टर्न डिस्टरबेंस सक्रिय होगा, जिसका असर मध्य प्रदेश में भी दिखेगा। 10 फरवरी से मावठा गिरने के आसार हैं।
