मुख्यमंत्री नायब सैनी ने रविवार को अपने जन्मदिन पर गौ माता की सेवा के पवित्र संकल्प को साकार करने की दिशा में एक और अहम कदम उठाते हुए माता मनसा देवी गौधाम में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में जिला की गौशालाओं के लिए । करोड़ 22 लाख 46 14 हजार रुपए की चारा अनुदान राशि के चैक वितरित किए। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने संकेतड़ी की पहाड़ी पर स्थित प्राचीन शिव मंदिर के कच्चे रास्ते के सुदृढ़ीकरण व नवीनीकरण के लिए 20 लाख रुपए देने की घोषणा भी की।
इससे पहले मुख्यमंत्री सैनी ने अपनी पत्नी सुमन सैनी सहित माता मनसा देवी गौधाम में गौ सेवा की और चारा और गुड़ खिलाकर गौ माता का आशीर्वाद लिया। उन्होंने गौ पूजन भी किया। मुख्यमंत्री सैनी ने कहा कि हमारे देश में गाय आदिकाल से ही पूजनीय रही है और गाय को माता का दर्जा दिया गया है।
पौराणिक कथाओं अनुसार गाय में सभी देवी-देवता निवास करते हैं। गाय के इसी महत्व को देखते हुए धार्मिक एवं सामाजिक संगठनों द्वारा गौशालाओं की स्थापना पर बल दिया गया है वर्तमान सरकार ने भी गौशालाओं के विकास, गौवंश संरक्षण और प्राकृतिक कृषि को प्रोत्साहित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाए हैं। 11 वर्षों मे पंजीकृत गौशालाओं को चारे के लिए 270 करोड़ रुपए का अनुदान दिया गया है।
प्रदेश को बेसहारा गौवंश से मुक्त करना प्राथमिकता
सैनी ने कहा कि प्रदेश को बेसहारा गौवंश से मुक्त करना सरकार की प्राथमिकता है। इसके लिए गांव नैन, जिला पानीपत में और गांव ढंदुर, जिला हिसार में 2 गौ अभ्यारण्यों की स्थापना की गई है। इनमें लगभग 5 हजार बेसहारा गौवंश को आश्रय दिया जा चुका है। बेसहारा गौवंश के पुनर्वास के लिए 200 गौशालाओं को शैड बनाने के लिए 10 लाख रुपए प्रति गौशाला अनुदान देने की उनकी घोषणा के अनुरूप 51 गौशालाओं में शैद बनाए जा चुके हैं।
