मिडिल ईस्ट में जारी युद्ध के कारण जेट फ्यूल की कीमतों में भारी बढ़ोतरी हुई है, जिसका असर अब हवाई यात्रियों की जेब पर पड़ने वाला है। देश की प्रमुख एयरलाइन एअर इंडिया ने लागत के बढ़ते दबाव को देखते हुए अपने फ्यूल सरचार्ज में बदलाव का फैसला लिया है।
एयरलाइन के इस कदम के बाद घरेलू और अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों के टिकटों की कीमतों में इजाफा होना तय है, जिससे आने वाले दिनों में डोमेस्टिक फ्लाइट में किराया 299 रुपये लेकर 899 रुपये तक बढ़ जाएगा। वहीं, इंटरनेशनल टिकटों के दाम 2,200 रुपये लेकर 26,000 रुपये तक बढ़ जाएंगे।
8 अप्रैल से लागू होंगी नई दरें
दुनिया भर में जेट फ्यूल की कीमतों में भारी बढ़ोत्तरी के बाद एअर इंडिया की ओर से अपने घरेलू और अंतरराष्ट्रीय दोनों तरह के रूट्स पर फ्यूल सरचार्ज में बदलाव किया है। यह बदलाव 8 अप्रैल, बुधवार से ज्यादात्तर रूट्स पर लागू हो जाएंगे। वहीं, यूरोप, उत्तरी अमेरिका और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के लिए, बदला हुआ सरचार्ज 10 अप्रैल, 2026 से लागू होगा।
एयरलाइन के अनुसार, टिकटों की कीमतों में बढ़ोत्तरी का फैसला पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्रालय और नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय द्वारा अपनाए गए एक संतुलित दृष्टिकोण के बाद लिया गया है। जिसमें घरेलू एविएशन टर्बाइन फ्यूल (ATF) की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी को 25 प्रतिशत तक सीमित कर दिया गया था।
दूरी-आधारित ग्रिड सिस्टम लागू
एअर इंडिया की ओर से घरेलू उड़ानों के लिए एक तय सरचार्ज के बजाय दूरी-आधारित ग्रिड सिस्टम लागू किया है। वहीं, इंटरनेशनल उड़ानों के लिए एयरलाइन ने कीमतों में ज्यादा बदलाव किया है। क्योंकि इंटरनेशनल ATF की कीमतों पर कोई लिमिट नहीं है।
हालांकि, एयर इंडिया ने कहा कि यह सरचार्ज जेट फ्यूल की कीमतों में हुई बढ़ोतरी को पूरी तरह से कवर नहीं करता है। एयरलाइन इस बढ़ोतरी के एक हिस्से का बोझ खुद उठाना जारी रखे हुए है।
फ्यूल की कीमतों में भारी बढ़ोत्तरी
इंटरनेशनल एयर ट्रांसपोर्ट एसोसिएशन के डेटा के अनुसार, 27 मार्च को खत्म हुए हफ्ते में जेट फ्यूल की औसत वैश्विक कीमत बढ़कर 195.19 डॉलर प्रति बैरल हो गई। यह कीमत फरवरी में 99.40 डॉलर प्रति बैरल थी। यानी एक महीने में फ्यूल की कीमतों में करीब 100 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी हुई है। इसकी वजह से, दुनिया भर की एयरलाइंस के लिए फ्यूल सबसे बड़े लागत दबावों में से एक बन गया है।
