रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (DRDO) ने इंडियन रेडियो साफ्टवेयर आर्किटेक्चर (आइआरएसए) जारी किया जो भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों के बीच सुरक्षित संचार प्रणाली सुनिश्चित करेगा। यह रक्षा संचार प्रौद्योगिकियों में आत्मनिर्भरता की दिशा में एक बड़ी उपलब्धि है। तीनों सेनाओं के सहयोग से विकसित आईआरएसए का उद्देश्य विभिन्न एसडीआर प्लेटफार्मों में एकरूपता सुनिश्चित करना है।

भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों के बीच आधुनिक और सुरक्षित संचार प्रणाली सुनिश्चित होने के साथ ही अंतर-संचालन क्षमता या तालमेल भी बेहतर होगा। रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (DRDO) ने मंगलवार को ‘इंडियन रेडियो साफ्टवेयर आर्किटेक्चर (आइआरएसए) जारी किया है।

रक्षा मंत्रालय के अनुसार यह भारत की रक्षा संचार प्रौद्योगिकियों में आत्मनिर्भरता की दिशा में बड़ी उपलब्धि है। आईआरएसए व्यापक साफ्टवेयर आर्किटेक्चर मानक है, जिसे ‘साफ्टवेयर डिफाइंड रेडियो’ (एसडीआर) तकनीक के लिए विकसित किया गया है।

तीनों सेनाओं का मिला सहयोग
मंत्रालय ने कहा, डीआरडीओ ने इंटीग्रेटेड डिफेंस स्टाफ (आईडीएस) और तीनों सेनाओं (थलसेना, नौसेना और वायुसेना) के सहयोग से जारी किया है। इसमें समान इंटरफेस, एपीआई वेवफार्म पोर्टेबिलिटी शामिल हैं। इसका उद्देश्य भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों द्वारा उपयोग किए जाने वाले विभिन्न एसडीआर प्लेटफार्मों में एकरूपता, प्रमाणन और अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करना है।

IRSA को मिली मंजूरी
आईआरएसए पहल की शुरुआत 2021 में हुई, जब आधुनिक सैन्य संचार में एसडीआर की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला गया और एक राष्ट्रीय साफ्टवेयर मानक की आवश्यकता महसूस की गई। डीआरडीओ के नेतृत्व में तकनीकी टीम ने 2022 में कार्य शुरू किया। हितधारकों के साथ समीक्षा और परामर्श के बाद, आईआरएसए संस्करण 1.0 को मंजूरी दी गई।
