लुधियाना: कारकस प्लांट चालू करने में हो रही देरी को लेकर एन.जी.टी. ने सरकार पर 50 हजार का जुर्माना ठोका है।

जहां तक एन.जी.टी. में चल रहे केस की सुनवाई का सवाल है, पहले दो मंत्रियों की कमेटी बनाने और नई साइट की तलाश करने की रिपोर्ट दी गई जिसके बावजूद कारकस प्लांट चाल करने में हो रही देरी को लेकर एन.जी.टी. ने सरकार पर 50 हजार का जुर्माना ठोका है। इसके साथ ही केंद्रीय पर्यावरण मंत्रालय, प्रदूषण कंट्रोल बोर्ड से रिपोर्ट मांगी गई है।
