अंपायर से की शिकायत

लाबुशेन ने इस बात की शिकायत मैदानी अंपायर से की थी, लेकिन कुछ हुआ नहीं। हैरानी की बात ये है कि ऐसा दूसरे ओवर से ही होने लगा था। लाबुशेन ने मैच के बाद प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में कहा, “मैंने दूसरे ओवर के बाद अंपायर से इस बात की शिकायत की थी कि ये क्या हो रहा है? गेंद लाल हो चुकी है। ये जरूर ही कपड़ों या कुछ और से हुआ है। मैंने ऐसा पहले कभी नहीं देखा।”

लाबुशेन ने उम्मीद जगाई है कि फ्रेंचाइजी के मालिक इस पर ध्यान देंगे। उन्होंने कहा, “मैंने ऐसा तो देखा है कि बैट से कुछ गेंद पर लग गया हो या पैड से पेंट निकलकर गेंद पर लग गया हो, लेकिन कपड़ों के साथ ऐसा कुछ मैंने पहले कभी नहीं देखा था। मुझे उम्मीद है कि वह लोग अगले कुछ मैचों में इसको सुधारेंगे।”

हैदराबाद की टीम ये मैच तो नहीं जीत सकी, लेकिन मैच के बाद उन्होंने एक मजाकिया पोस्ट किया। लाहौर ने ये मैच 69 रनों से जीत लिया। मैच के बाद हैदराबाद ने एक्स पर पोस्ट करते हुए लिखा, “विपक्षी टीम को उनका पहला गुलाबी गेंद का मैच जीतने पर बधाई।”
