पंजाब सरकार के विरोध के बावजूद केंद्र सरकार ने फूड कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (एफसीआई) के क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय में एजीएमयूटी कैडर के अधिकारी की तैनाती कर दी है।
कैबिनेट की नियुक्ति समिति ने आईएएस अधिकारी नितिका पवार को एफसीआई के जनरल मैनेजर पद पर नियुक्त करने को मंजूरी दी है। यह नियुक्ति खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण विभाग के तहत तीन साल के लिए डेपुटेशन पर की गई है।
