छठी पीढ़ी के लड़ाकू विमान कार्यक्रम में शामिल होगा भारत
भारत औपचारिक रूप से यूरोप के महत्वाकांक्षी ‘छठी पीढ़ी’ के लड़ाकू जेट कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने पर विचार कर रहा है।
यह इस बात का पहला आधिकारिक संकेत है कि भारतीय वायु सेना स्वदेशी 5वीं पीढ़ी के उन्नत मध्यम लड़ाकू विमान (एएमसीए) से आगे अगली पीढ़ी के लड़ाकू विमान के विकास में भागीदार हो सकती है।
रक्षा मंत्रालय ने रक्षा संबंधी संसद की स्थायी समिति को सूचित किया है कि वायु सेना छठी पीढ़ी के लड़ाकू विमानों पर काम कर रहे दो यूरोपीय कंसोर्टियम में से किसी एक के साथ सहयोग की संभावना तलाश रही है।
इनमें एक कंसोर्टियम ब्रिटेन, इटली और जापान की साझेदारी वाला ग्लोबल कांबैट एयर प्रोग्राम है। दूसरा कंसोर्टियम फ्रांस, जर्मनी और स्पेन की साझेदारी वाला फ्यूचर कांबैट एयर सिस्टम है।
संसदीय समिति को बताया गया कि भारतीय वायु सेना इन परियोजनाओं में से किसी एक के साथ जुड़ना चाहती है, ताकि भारत उन्नत लड़ाकू विमान प्रौद्योगिकी के विकास में पीछे न रह जाए।
छठी पीढ़ी के लड़ाकू विमान अमेरिकी एफ-22, एफ-35 या चीन के जे-20 जैसे मौजूदा स्टील्थ विमानों से आगे की प्रौद्योगिकी वाले होते हैं। जहां पांचवीं पीढ़ी के जेट स्टील्थ, सेंसर फ्यूजन और नेटवर्क आधारित युद्ध पर जोर देते हैं।
वहीं छठी पीढ़ी के विमान मानवरहित ड्रोनों के समूह को नियंत्रित करने, एआइ की सहायता से मानवरहित लड़ाकू विमान चलाने, अगली पीढ़ी के सेंसर और इलेक्ट्रानिक युद्ध उपकरणों को तैनात करने में सक्षम होते हैं। छठी पीढ़ी के विमानों की होड़ पहले से ही वैश्विक स्तर पर चल रही है।
