जालंधर में अवैध निर्माण के खिलाफ पुलिस की बड़ी कार्रवाई
पंजाब सरकार द्वारा चलाए जा रहे “युद्ध नशों के विरुद्ध” अभियान के तहत पुलिस प्रशासन लगातार सख्त कदम उठा रहा है। इसी कड़ी में एडीसीपी-1 सिटी आकृषि जैन अपनी पुलिस टीम के साथ मंडी रोड पर चल रहे एक अवैध निर्माण को रुकवाने मौके पर पहुंचीं। जांच के दौरान पुलिस को पता चला कि उक्त अवैध इमारत का मालिक रोहित टंडन है, जिसके खिलाफ पहले से ही एनडीपीएस एक्ट समेत कुल 7 आपराधिक मामले दर्ज हैं। पुलिस रिकॉर्ड खंगालने पर सामने आया कि आरोपी लंबे समय से नशा तस्करी और अन्य अवैध गतिविधियों में संलिप्त रहा है।
पुलिस अधिकारियों ने मौके पर निर्माण कार्य को तुरंत रुकवाते हुए संबंधित विभागों को भी सूचित किया। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि नशा तस्करी से जुड़े लोगों की अवैध संपत्तियों पर कार्रवाई आगे भी जारी रहेगी और किसी को भी कानून से ऊपर नहीं समझा जाएगा।
एडीसीपी आकृषि जैन ने स्पष्ट किया कि “युद्ध नशों के विरुद्ध” अभियान के तहत नशा तस्करों के नेटवर्क को पूरी तरह तोड़ने के लिए सख्त कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं और अवैध निर्माण व संपत्तियों को किसी भी सूरत में बख्शा नहीं जाएगा। पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई से इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया है और स्थानीय लोगों ने प्रशासन की इस सख्ती की सराहना की है।
