मुजफ्फरपुर शहर के खबरा गुमटी नंबर-6 के पास शनिवार की देर शाम उस समय सनसनी फैल गई, जब रेलवे लाइन पर एक युवती की ट्रेन से कटी हुई लाश बरामद की गई। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही इलाके में अफरातफरी मच गई।

घटना की सूचना स्थानीय लोगों ने पुलिस को दी। मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर जांच शुरू की और परिजनों को सूचना दी। इसके बाद शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए एसकेएमसीएच भेज दिया गया।
