भोपाल: IAS बेलगाम ‘वर्मा’ पर सीएम यादव का कहर
मध्य प्रदेश सरकार ने विवादित IAS अधिकारी और अजाक्स के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष संतोष वर्मा के खिलाफ बड़ा कदम उठाते हुए उनकी बर्खास्तगी का प्रस्ताव केंद्र सरकार को भेज दिया है। जीएडी ने उन्हें कृषि विभाग के उप सचिव पद से हटाकर बिना विभाग और बिना कार्य अपने विभाग से अटैच कर दिया है।
मामला तब बिगड़ा जब 23 नवंबर को वर्मा का एक वीडियो वायरल हुआ, जिसमें उन्होंने कहा — “जब तक मेरे बेटे को कोई ब्राह्मण अपनी बेटी दान न कर दे, तब तक आरक्षण मिलना चाहिए।”
इस बयान ने ब्राह्मण समाज को भड़काया और प्रदेशभर में उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग तेज हो गई। 65 ब्राह्मण संगठन एकजुट होकर मंत्रालय के बाहर प्रदर्शन और 14 दिसंबर को मुख्यमंत्री आवास घेराव की तैयारी में हैं।
इसी बीच वर्मा का हाईकोर्ट को लेकर एक और विवादित बयान सामने आया –

सरकार ने स्पष्ट किया कि राज्य सिर्फ IAS अधिकारी को सस्पेंड कर सकती है, लेकिन बर्खास्त करने का अधिकार केंद्र सरकार और राष्ट्रपति के पास होता है। इसी के लिए प्रस्ताव भेजा गया है। विवादित बयानों और फर्जी दस्तावेजों के आरोपों से घिरे संतोष वर्मा पर अब केंद्र का फैसला तय करेगा कि उनकी आईएएस सेवा रहेगी या जाएगी।
