दिल्ली के इंदिरा गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाईअड्डे के टर्मिनल-1 पर बृहस्पतिवार दोपहर एक बड़ा विमान हादसा टल गया। दोपहर 2:15 बजे टैक्सीवे पर अकासा एअर और स्पाइसजेट के विमान आपस में टकरा गए। हादसे में दोनों विमानों को क्षति पहुंची है। हालांकि किसी यात्री को चोट नहीं आई है। दोनों विमानों की उड़ानें रद्द कर दी गई हैं।
नागरिक उड्डयन महानिदेशालय (डीजीसीए) ने मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए जांच शुरू कर दी है। बताया जा रहा कि अकासा एअर का बोइंग 737 मैक्स (फ्लाइट क्यूपी 1406) हैदराबाद उड़ान भरने के लिए टैक्सीवे पर खड़ा था। इस दौरान लेह से आई स्पाइसजेट की फ्लाइट (एसजी 124) पार्किंग की ओर जाते समय उससे टकरा गई। टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि स्पाइसजेट के पंख के सिरे और अकासा के पीछे वाले पंख को नुकसान पहुंचा है।
ट्रैफिक कंट्रोलर और स्पाइसजेट के पायलटों को ड्यूटी से हटाया
डीजीसीए ने हादसे को गंभीर मानते हुए एक एयर ट्रैफिक कंट्रोलर और स्पाइसजेट के विमान के पायलटों को ड्यूटी से हटा दिया है। वे जांच पूरी होने तक ड्यूटी से विरत रहेंगे
डीजीसीए ने कहा, ऐसी घटना दोबारा न हो इसके लिए गहन जांच की जा रही है। हादसे के पीछे तकनीकी कारण है या मानवीय चूक है, इसका पता लगाया जा सके
