पानी: 4 कप (उबालने के लिए)
नींबू का रस: 1 से 2 चम्मच (इससे शरबत लंबे समय तक खराब नहीं होता)
हरा फूड कलर: 2-3 बूंदें (पूरी तरह से ऑप्शन – अगर आपको बिल्कुल बाजार जैसा हरा रंग चाहिए)

खस का शरबत बनाने की आसान विधि

अब एक दूसरे बर्तन में 2 कप चीनी और थोड़ा सा पानी डालकर गैस पर रखें। इसे तब तक पकाएं जब तक कि चीनी पूरी तरह से घुल न जाए और एक हल्की गाढ़ी चाशनी तैयार न हो जाए।
जब चाशनी तैयार हो जाए, तो उसमें छाना हुआ खस का पानी मिला दें। इसे 2-3 मिनट तक और पकने दें ताकि सब कुछ अच्छे से मिल जाए। गैस बंद करें और इसे पूरी तरह ठंडा होने दें।
मिश्रण ठंडा होने के बाद, इसमें एक या दो चम्मच नींबू का रस मिला दें। नींबू इसके स्वाद को तो बढ़ाएगा ही, साथ ही सिरप को जमने और खराब होने से भी रोकेगा। अगर आप बाजार जैसा लुक चाहते हैं, तो इसमें 2-3 बूंद हरा फूड कलर मिला सकते हैं।
