पंचायती चुनाव की रंजिश ने पेट में ही मार दी नन्ही जान
अबोहर : जिला फाजिल्का के गांव कंधवाला हाजर खां में करीब एक महीना पहले सरपंची चुनावों की रंजिश के चलते गांव के ही कुछ लोगों ने एक परिवार पर हमला कर दिया जब बचाव में घर की गर्भवती महिला आई तो हमलावरों ने उसके पेट में भी लातें मारी और लाठियों से प्रहार किया जिसकी गत रात स्थानीय सरकारी अस्पताल में हुई डिलवरी के दौरान उसके पेट से मृत बच्चा पैदा हुआ।
अरनीवाला पुलिस ने महिला के बयान दर्ज करते हुए गर्भ में पल रहे बच्चे की हत्या करने के आरोप में तीन लोगों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। पुलिस को दिए बयान में वीरपाल कौर पत्नी मनप्रीत सिंह ने बताया कि उनके परिवार ने विगत महीने संपन्न हुए सरपंची चुनावों के दौरान एक पक्ष की मदद की थी लेकिन दूसरे पक्ष के लोग इसी बात की रंजिश उनसे रखते थे।
वीरपाल कौर ने बताया कि 25 दिसंबर को जब वह 9 महीने की गर्भवती थी तो गांव के ही प्रगट सिंह व बोहडा सिंह पुत्र बलकार सिंह तथा गोरा सिंह पुत्र बोहड़ सिंह लाठियां डंडे लेकर उनके घर में शाम के समय घुस आए और आते ही उसके पिता बलकार सिंह, चाचा जसवंत सिंह और पति मनप्रीत सिंह को पीटना शुरू कर दिया जब उसने अपने परिवार का बचाव करना चाहा तो उक्त हमलावरों ने उस पर भी हमला किया और पेट में लातें मारी और फरार हो गए। इसके बाद उसे उपचार के लिए स्थानीय सरकारी अस्पताल में भर्ती करवाया गया जबकि घायल परिवार के अन्य लोगों को फाजिल्का अस्पताल भर्ती करवाया गया।
गत रात्रि स्थानीय अस्पताल में वीरपाल कौर की डिलीवरी हुई तो एक मृत बच्चा पैदा हुआ। जिस पर थाना अरनीवाला पुलिस ने वीरपाल कौर के बयानों पर उक्त प्रगट सिंह, बोहडा सिंह व गोरा सिंह के खिलाफ बीएनएस की धारा 105 के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। सहायक सबइंस्पैक्टर बूटा सिंह ने मृतक बच्चे के शव को अस्पताल की मोर्चरी में रखवाते हुए जांच पडताल शुरू कर दी है।
